Sporty student of International Business

Zhang Qinyong would like to be a business man after graduation.

Zhang Qinyong is studying International Trade in International Business Programme of Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences. Before studying in group BT6, Zhang was studying Commerce in University of Malta for two years, specializating in Banking Financial and Management. After graduating from his degree programme, Zhang would like to be a business man, especially in the Marketing and Logistic part. 

Zhang chose his degree programme in Finland because he knew that Finland’s educational quality is very high. Furthermore the free of charge education is attractive benefit for a developing countries student. Zhang is also satisfied with good English speaking lecturers and useful teaching system. Finally, from Zhang’s point of view, Finland is a beautiful country to study. 

Zhang likes the institute of KyAMK and thinks that the environment in Kouvola is nice. Zhang thinks that the most difficult part of studies is to study Finnish, but he is living together with two nice Finnish students who are also studying in KyAMK. 

“The studying in KYAMK is quite active, there emphasis is on practical studying. In KyAMK, every week we have an assignment or presentation that should be done. It is really hard work. Nevertheless I like academic freedom, everyone has a right to express their academic opinion. I think that studying in KYAMK is the best part of my student life. Successful presentations I have made and opportunity to participate the Package Design Forum are very important experiences in my student life”, Zhang says. 

The studying environment in Kouvola is quite international. Zhang participated once an International Day, which was arranged by Business Campus in Kouvola. Zhang have also taken part in some of school’s International events and also some parties held by students themselves. 

Zhang have served earlier as a sailor in a Chinese ocean transport company for four years. He is not working now, but he has planned to go to work in China center later. Zhang likes sports, so he likes to play tennis in his free time. He also likes to go to swimming once a week. 

Zhang is not sure yet about his future plans, but he thinks he will go to work in Shanghai after graduation. His dream profession would be a marketing analysist, marketing manager or logistic manager.
