Annual Reports

KyUAS has published an Annual Responsibility Report since 2007. Annual Responsibility Report replaces the Annual Report published until 2006 and also the Environmental Report since 2008. KyUAS decided to start publishing Annual Responsibility Reports, because universities of applied sciences undertake significant social responsibility when carrying out the obligations laid down in  the Polytechnics Act: teaching, research, development and innovation and regional development.

Annual responsibility reporting is part of KyUAS’s strategic development. The profile of KyUAS, the only independent higher education institution in Kymenlaakso, is based on expertise on socially, ecologically and technologically sustainable and safe development, promotion of innovation processes and expertise on Russia. The concept "sustainable and safe development" refers to socially sustainable and safe develompent and ecologically and technologically sustainable and safe development that are firmly entwined together.
