Annual Responsibility Report 2008

Kymenlaakson ammattikorkeakoulu, University of Applied Sciences has published its Annual Responsibility Report, covering KyUAS's activities in 2008. This is KyUAS's second Annual Responsibility Repor. KyUAS decided to start publishing Annual Responsibility Reports, because unversities of applied sciences undertake significant social responsibility when carrying out the obligations laid down in  the Polytechnics Act: teaching, research and development and regional development.

This Annual Responsibility Report discusses last year's operations from three perspectives: social responsibility, environmental responsibilty and financial responsibility. This way, KyUAS implement the principle of sustainable development that encompasses, respectively, sosial and cultural sustainability, ecological sustainability and financial sustainability. The Annual Responsibility Report replaces KyUAS's Annual Report and Environmental Report.

In accordance with the values of sustainable development, this report is published in electorinic form on the internet only.
