Student exchange

International activities are implemented in cooperation between education, research, working life and surrounding society . Promoting internationalisation is an essential part of the strategy of Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences. Our international degree programmes and courses, student and teacher mobility, practical training abroad and different projects form the core of international activities.

As we also offer education in English, this provides the possibility for foreign students to participate in lectures. This also gives our Finnish students the opportunity to develop their own language, cultural and communication skills.

The emphasis is on promoting the process of internationalisation. Our goal is to increase the knowledge level and professional expertise of our students in order to prepare them for more international and multicultural environments.

International contacts are an important part of development activities. We are involved in several international projects and networks, which develop teaching and professional expertise to meet future challenges.
