Incoming exchange students

Students from partner institutions of Kymenlaakson ammattikorkeakoulu, University of Applied Sciences are welcome to apply for our 4–9 months exchange programme with the help of the International Office of their home university.

KyAMK has around 100 partner institutions in more than 20 countries around the world, and we receive around 120 international exchange students every year. Besides the exchange students there are over 200 foreign degree students which makes the atmosphere very international.

Education offered in English

The exchange studnets can choose 30-60 ECTS from the following degree programmes: Design, International Business, Industrial Management and Logistics, Media and Social Care . The Finnish students attend the same courses too!

Deadlines for applications

The application documents should be sent to the International Affairs Office (Address: Kymenlaakson AMK,  P.O. Box 9, FI-48401 Kotka, Finland, Europe) by 15th of MAY for the Autumn term/whole academic year and by 1st of November for the Spring term.

We can guarantee accommodation for all international students who submit the application within the given deadlines. We do not send separate confirmation of your accommodation details.
