The student affairs office has service facilities in each educational unit of Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences. The student affairs office provides its services to students and various authorities in cooperation with lecturers and other staff. The most important services of the student affairs office are guidance and registration.

Student counselling focuses on supporting the student’s choice of study field, progression of studies and implementation of a career plan. The student affairs office works in cooperation with others providing student services, especially with student counsellors, tutor lecturers and student tutors, work placement coordinators, the international office, career and recruitment coordinators, as well as the open university of applied sciences.
